I'd like to set up a deposit/pre-payment. How can I do this?

If you don’t accept credit cards, you’ll need to contact the guest to set up payment to your bank account.

To keep this simple and as smooth as possible, it’s best to provide a deadline for payment and inform the guest of this.

If you do accept credit cards, you can charge a deposit or pre-payment to the card the customer booked with. The amount should be the same as the amount stated in the booking conditions.

Always make sure your payment policies are up to date (you can check these in the ‘Rates & Availability’ tab in the extranet, or by selecting ‘Property Details’ and then ‘Policies).

You can also add this information to ‘The fine print’ section of your page. Just send us a text change request via the ‘Inbox’ tab in the extranet.
